Addiction support

If you have struggled with addiction or trying to maintain recovery, we can offer a safe non-judgemental space to support you on your journey. Substance abuse or addictive behaviours often mask an issue that is rooted in pain. Counselling can help peel back the layers and explore these roots and destructive coping strategies. This insight can support you in your recovery and help you maintain long-term sobriety.

Addiction often carries with it feelings of shame, guilt and self-judgement, which are painful and can draw people back into addiction. We can offer a relationship that gives you the freedom to explore these feelings, without judgement, supporting you to look into these difficult emotions. This understanding, can lead to self-compassion a great motivator for recovery as you look for healthier options to support yourself when life is challenging.

As counsellors we work collaboratively with our clients to identify triggers, to pick up on patterns which we reflect back to our clients. This perspective and insight can help shed a new light on your struggles and open a path to healing from pain which can free you from addiction.
